Are you looking for a free printable exercise log

Have you ever wanted a free printable exercise log that you could take with you and track your exercise?  I notice that a lot of people visit my web site on my Maintain Fit exercise log looking for just that.  So naturally I want to accommodate them.  So far, I’ve built in a ton of exercises that are easy to track using the fitness log on Maintain Fit.

Within minutes you can have a Free Exercise Log at my web site.

But, back to the point at hand, a free printable exercise log…

I’m guessing that the best way to do it would be to let the person choose which fields he/she wanted to include and then create a PDF that they could print out.  This would be a great help for people that were at the gym or away from their computer and wanted to keep track of it until they had time to come home and enter it in.

As I see it, I would want to integrate this free printable exercise log with the existing member accounts on Maintain Fit (which are free, by the way).  I would love to hear what you think about it.  How much or how little information should I include?  Should I include calculation fields, or should I do that for you automatically when you enter it (like I do now)?

I would especially want to know if you have found any good printable exercise logs elsewhere on the internet.  Leave the URL as a comment in this post.

One observation I would make is that the more simple something is, the more easy it is to make a regular habit.  This is something I have thought about a lot on Maintain Fit, as opposed to other fitness logs.  I love that I can post a new run in a matter of seconds, rather than minutes.  I would be inclined to think that the same would be true for a printable exercise log, that is, keep it simple…

That’s all for now.  To your success!
