The Nike Zoom Structure Triax+ 12 was designed by Nike specifically for women! This shoe is lightweight, wieghing in at about 10.8 oz for a regular size shoe. Great support and breathability make this shoe a great choice for beginner and mid level runners. This is possibly one of the best selling running shoes Nike has produced.
If you take running seriously, or even if you just want to protect your joints and make sure that you don’t ‘wear out’ on running, make sure you choose a quality shoe, that fits, and don’t try to get too many miles out of each shoe. The Nike Structure Triax is a good shoe for the price, indeed – but it is a specific shoe for a certain kind of runner (over pronators) and their use could actually be detrimental to the wrong kind of runner.
Nike puts a lot of effort in creating each shoe in two gender-specific versions and the Triax is great for female overpronators, in particular.
